Access Conference Submissions

The Access 2024 Conference Committee invites proposals for participation in the upcoming Access Conference, which will be held October 21 - 22, 2024 in Montréal, Québec at the Delta Hotel. As Canada’s premier library technology conference, Access brings librarians, technicians, developers, programmers, and managers together from all library sectors to connect, learn, and share insights.

Access is a single-stream conference offering a platform for keynotes, presentations, and opportunities to connect and socialize. The Access 2024 Conference Committee invites you to submit session proposals for our upcoming event.

We are seeking proposals of max 300 words for the following formats:

• Conference Presentations (15 mins + 5 mins for questions)
  Demos, case studies, original research, theory, practice, etc.
  Have another idea? Propose it!
  
  
• Brief “Lightning Talks” (5 min.) 
  Share new projects, research ideas, or any conference-related topic in a concise and engaging format.
  
  
• Longer Multi-Speaker Panel Discussions (45 min + 15 min for questions)
  These should be self-organized. We encourage sessions demonstrating perspectives from multiple organizations.

All proposals will be peer reviewed. In addition to these session formats, we are also seeking proposals for Post-Conference Workshops and Hackfest activities, which will take place on October 23, 2024. If you have a topic you’d like to lead or attend, please include it in your submission.

Please note that presenters may be limited to a single session, depending on the volume of submissions. Speakers will be notified of acceptance decisions by July 12, 2024.
